On 4th July, 2017, Trust Bank Ltd presented two laptops costing D64, 400.00 to National Agency for Legal Aid (NALA). The donation was in response to an urgent request for logistical support to help them overcome some of their challenges.

The event which was held at Trust Bank Ltd head office was graced by the Chairperson of NALA-Honorable Justice Awa Bah and her Board members and also member of the Senior Management team of Trust Bank Ltd.

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Trust Bank Ltd- Mr. Ibrahima Salla said

“We partnered with National Agency for Legal Aid with the hope of making a difference. “Our collaboration with NALA started few years ago and I must admit that we are incredibly proud of their achievements in trying to provide legal aid to the poor and vulnerable in our society.  At the end of the day the success is a reflection of having great partners in the administration of the affairs of the agency.”


“It is a humbling and extraordinary privilege for Trust Bank Ltd to provide NALA with logistical support that will enable them to represent individuals who would otherwise lack legal representation, especially when children are involved.”  

On her part, the Chairperson of NALA, Justice Awa Bah used the occasion to thank the management and staff of Trust Bank for always standing by them and extolled the excellent banking relationship that we have over the years. 

“On behalf of the Board and staff of NALA, I would like to express my profound sense of gratitude and appreciation for your timely donation. NALA have over the years taken your support for granted because of what you stand for-a proudly Gambian Bank. We would like to assure you that the laptops will be put into very good use”.

The presentation of the two laptops was done by Ms Fatou Lili Drammeh-Head of Legal and Compliance Department, Trust Bank Ltd who assured NALA of our firm commitment towards helping them overcome their constraints.
