BANJUL TRAFFIC POLICE
 
The Assistant Superintendent of The Gambia Police Force who doubles as the Station Officer of Banjul Traffic Police approached the Bank seeking for assistance to buy an engine for their vehicle with registration number GPF M 6 HQ which was grounded since October last year.
 
On Monday 13th April 2015 we presented a cheque for D45,000.00 to the police as payment for the engine to get their car on the road once again.

PRISON FELLOWSHIP THE GAMBIA
 
On Thursday 9th April 2015 our bank made a donation of D30, 000.00 to The Prison Fellowship of The Gambia to support the restructuring and upgrading of their main office to enable them carry out their duties and also provide them with enough for their volunteers.
 
The Prison Fellowship of The Gambia’s raison d’etre is support and advocacy on behalf of the prison population and their families in The Gambia. They organize regular planned visits to penitentiaries around the country in a bid to engage the prisoners to find out issues affecting them and providing support for their children in the form of financial aid for their education.

THE GAMBIA CRICKET ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT 2015
 
On Tuesday 17th March 2015 our bank made a donation of D20,000.00 to The Gambia Cricket Association to help towards the cost of holding its annual cricket tournament across the country with the aim of developing sports at the grassroots including the organization of community cricket, Senior National League, The Gambia Premier League, Female League, Primary School League & Senior Secondary School league.
 
We have been partnering with The Gambia Cricket Association in supporting and nurturing sporting talent across the country.

EXCELLENCE IN THE MILLENNIUM AWARD
 
 
 
It is a tradition that every year Trust Bank Ltd award ten of the most outstanding students in The Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examination (GABECE) provided by WAEC. This year marks the 12th edition since it was established and the ceremony was held at the Laico Atlantic Hotel on Wednesday 11th March 2015.
At Trust Bank we remain passionately committed to the promotion of quality education as a prerequisite to national development. As such, these Excellence Awards where conceived to both recognise and motivate students for their outstanding performances.
 
 
 
This year’s award ceremony came with some surprises. The ten awardees of our Excellence in The Millennium Awards each received a Certificate of Excellence, prize sum of D5, 000 in the form of Trust Bank Student Accounts and a brand new Tablet. A Certificate of Excellence and a sum of D20, 000.00 was awarded to the school that has produced the highest number of awardees. Special recognition to the student with the best overall result was long overdue and so for the first time, this year, the top student was awarded an additional cash prize of D5, 000.00 and D10, 000.00 went to the school she attended.

The programme was attended by the Chief Guest of Honour Hon. Fatou Lamin Faye, Minister of Basic & Secondary Education; Babucarr Bouy, Permanent Secretary; Bokary S. Secka representing WAEC; Muhammad Jabbi, Chairman Conference of Principals; Pa MM Njie, Managing Director Trust Bank Ltd, Njilan Senghore Njie, General Manager Finance & Admin Sheikh Ndow, Head of Department Admin & HR; parents, guardians, teachers and Tbl staff. The programme was chaired by Dodou Nyang, Head of Marketing & Sales.

GT BOARD THIRD EDITION OF INTERNATIONAL FOOD & BEVERAGE FESTIVAL 2015
 
The Gambia Tourism Board in collaboration with its stakeholders organized a fundraising event on Friday 20th February 2015 held at Jakarlo Bar & Restaurant in Kololi. The event was intended to broaden the products of the tourism industry and to provide an avenue for tourists and Gambians alike to sample the various culinary delights of destination Gambia and also experience some aspects of the various cultures. 
 
In support of this initiative we bought a sponsorship package worth D20, 000.00
