Mr. Sheikh Ndow joined the Bank in 2008 and is presently the Head of Department Administration & Human Resources, a position he assumed in June 2017. Prior to this, he was an English teacher for many years before working as an investigative journalist for over 8 years. He also gathered a wealth of work experience during his stay in the United Kingdom.
Presently he supervises the overall running of the Admin and HR departments of the Bank including the development and implementation of Bank policies and strategies, Preparation of Manpower Planning Reports, annual Manpower budget and job classifications.
He was Secretary to the Board of Directors of Bayba Financial Services Limited (a subsidiary of Trust Bank Limited). Chairman of the Association of Human Resource Managers of Banks in The Gambia. Member of the Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Accreditation Committee of the Institute of Bankers of The Gambia, under the auspices of the Gambia Bankers’ Association. Mr. Ndow has an Msc in Management Information Systems and a BA (Hons) in Business Information Technology with Human Resource.
